The Rescue Science Forum will take place on 02. and 03.04.2022 in the Würzburg rooms of the University of Würzburg-Schweinfurt. The The 2nd Rescue Science Forum is the follow-up event to the 1st symposium on the promotion of science in rescue services that took place on April 24, 2021. The organizer is the German Society for Rescue Sciences eV (DGRe) as the first scientific specialist society for the rescue service.
The forum provides the opportunity for networking and the exchange of current scientific findings relating to rescue services. For the first time, the internationality of many issues is taken into account so that English-language submissions will also be possible.
The rescue sciences are the German-speaking counterparts to Paramedicine, Paramedic Science or Paramedical Science from the English-speaking area. They are the reservoir for rescue service research and research with a focus on the rescue service of other scientific disciplines.
In order to take this multidisciplinarity into account, we see the Rescue Science Forum as an extremely open event. Researchers of every discipline and every level are called upon to submit their findings to or via the rescue service in order to share them with the rescue science community. Whether humanities, social, economic or medical science, whether project work in emergency medical training, bachelor or master thesis, dissertation, funded or free research project, everyone will have the space to participate in the rescue sciences forum.
