Changes in social and political requirements lead to changes in the German and international ambulance services. In 2023, the German Society of Paramedic Sciences (DGRe) is holding a scientific congress for the third time, the Forum Rettungswissenschaften. The forum provides the opportunity for networking and the exchange of current scientific findings relating to rescue services. For the first time, the internationality of many aspects is taken into account. Consequently, English-language submissions will be possible for the first time.
The “Rettungswissenschaft” is the German-speaking counterpart to paramedicine, paramedic science, or paramedical science. These disciplines are the reservoir for paramedical research and research with a focus on paramedicine of other scientific disciplines.
In order to take this multidisciplinarity into account, we see the Forum Rettungswissenschaften as an extremely open event. Researchers of every discipline and every level are called upon to submit their findings in or about paramedicine in order to share them with the community in paramedic science. Whether human, social, economic, or medical science, whether project work in paramedic school, bachelor or master thesis, Ph.D., funded or free research project, everyone will have room to participate in Forum Rettungswissenschaften.
The deadline for submitting contributions for the 2023 conference is November 30, 2022! We use the external platform EasyChair for the submission. The abstract submission form can be found here .
